The Spring, 2010 Together in Ministry large group gathering promises to be unique. The event kicks off at noon on Thursday with registration and lunch, followed by a series of presentations by VA personnel, veterans, and military chaplains beginning at 1:00. The presenters will tell their stories about ministering to deployed military personnel, and will entertain discussion and questions from the TiM participants about this type of ministry.
Friday morning provides the unique opportunity to watch Pastor Paul Oman "interpret" Scripture through watercolor. He will paint while listening to the reading of Scripture, and we will be able to watch a painting come to life as he interprets that passage. TiM participants will then be able to discuss his presentation and engage Paul in questions about the role of art in liturgy, for example. For a sneak peek at what Paul does, you can go to his website at

If you are a TiM participant, and have not already done so, please let Kate Campbell know if you would like to attend this gathering, at
kate.campbell@augie.edu. If you are not a TiM participant, it is not too late for you to join us! Please contact Pastor Don Lehmann at
dlehmann@sio.midco.net to ask questions about the program, or to sign up.
