Together in Ministry South Dakota Off to a Great Start
The first Clergy Renewal initiative of LHOS, Together in Ministry, officially kicked off on February 13th, 2009 as small group leaders from around the state gathered at Augustana College for a day of fellowship and training. Dr. Doug Anderson, of Sioux Falls Psychological Services and Sioux Falls Seminary, led the facilitators through various training sessions in preparation for their first small group meetings over the next few weeks. Participants expressed various reasons for their interest in TiM, but to a person they are motivated to provide ministry to ministry professionals.
It's not too late to sign up! If you are interested in either becoming a small group facilitator or joining a small group, please contact either Pastor Karen Soli at k_soli@msn.com or Sarah Stenson at sarah.stenson@augie.edu.
Also, mark your calendars for Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1. The first TiM large group gathering will be held on those dates and will be open to TiM participants as well as the general public. Further details will be provided in the next few months, but you can click on the Clergy Renewal tab above for more information about Dr. Croghan's key note talk Thursday evening.
