Looking
for a chance to enhance your ministry without wearing you out?
The
Luther House of Study is sponsoring a new initiative throughout the South
Dakota Synod called "Together in Ministry" (TiM). This program
is designed to renew, revitalize, and nurture pastors and other rostered leaders
through a combination of small group and large group gatherings.
Please

in Ministry Publicity brochure
Are you
interested in receiving an invitation to join us? The program is underway, but new participants are welcome. If you join the program at this point in the year, you are eligible for a prorated fee. For more information on
the specifics of the program as well as how to become involved, please download
an invitation here: Invitation to Together in Ministry.doc
Upcoming large group gathering: Our next large group gathering will be held on Thursday, May 6th and Friday, May 7th, 2010 at Augustana College. While still in the planning stages, at least one of the offerings at this gathering will include discussion about ministering to families of deployed military personnel. Keep checking this website for additional details as they become available.
General Information: Our goal
is to offer two to three large group opportunities each year, covering a wide
range of subjects pertinent to ministry. These topics are intended to
stimulate thoughtful conversation in the small groups, rather than leaving participants with
another item to add to their "to do" lists. Housing is usually provided
at the Good Samaritan Society headquarters in Sioux Falls. As the program
continues, it is our hope to offer large group gatherings around the
state in a variety of locations.
Have you
already decided that you want to propose this as a continuing education
opportunity to your congregation's leadership? If so, download the following
covenant agreement here: Together
in Ministry Covenant for leaders and their congregation
